Upper school  students from the English School Fahaheel (ESF)  once again departed on their annual trip to London for eight days. This was the third year the trip had been organized following two very successful trips with the highlight of last year being a football training session with one of England’s football teams coaches.

This year’s itinerary included a visit to Warner Bros. Studio to tour the making of the Harry Potter movies, a visit to Bath stopping at The Royal Crescent and Pultenery Bridge. The Royal Academy of Arts gallery exhibition, a walking tour of Oxford, a trip to Stratford Upon Avon to visit the birthplace of Shakespeare, Madam Tussauds Star Wars experience, the London Eye 4D Experience, a stop at the theater to see the smash hit musical Matilda and a tour of Wembley Stadium. The eight-day trip was packed with, fun, laughter, activities, and little sleep.

It has to be said that the highlight of the trip for the boys was meeting and talking with Manchester United Premier leagues football players; Defender, Marcos Rojo, Midfielder, Ander Herrera and Goalkeeper, Sergio Romero.  It was a memorable experience and one that saw the students on their best behavior.

ESF would like to thank Mrs. De Kok, Mr. Mulley and Ms. Johnson for organizing this year’s trip.
