The English Madrasa for Islamic Studies popularly known as EMIS conducted a teacher’s orientation camp at its Khaitan branch premises.
Teachers from Salmiya and Khaitan branches attended the camp, which was inaugurated by Kerala Islamic Group (KIG) president Faisal Manjeri.
The event commenced with the recitation from the holy Quran by Thwayyib, KIG Education Board secretary Mohammed Shafi PT welcomed the audience and Education Board acting convener Razak Nadwi presided over the function.
Mr. Manjeri in his speech spoke on the topic ‘A model teacher’ in which he emphasized how the students perceive their teachers as role models.
Principal of EMIS Salmiya branch Sameer Mohammed made a presentation on ‘Students Psychology – Managing the Odds’. The presentation covered various areas of student psychology and mainly focused on how to manage a class with troublesome students.
Principal of EMIS Khaitan branch Feroze Hameed, explained the concepts and features of the new textbooks being introduced in the Madrasa as a part of syllabus revision plan for the new academic year.
The English Madrasa for Islamic Studies functions under the Education Wing of Kerala Islamic Group that caters to the needs of providing Islamic education to English speaking students. The madrasa follows a comprehensive syllabus and covers all areas of Islamic education including Quran recitation, hifz, Islamic studies, Islamic History, Fiqh, aqaid, akhlak, adaab and Arabic language.
The Madrasa has two branches located in Khaitan and Salmiya. A third branch is being planned at Fahaheel as a part of its expansion plans. For more details please email at email@example.com
