Hawally policemen arrested a citizen for the possession of a weapon and narcotic substances. The officers got suspicious when the citizen looked agitated during routine inspection. They searched the vehicle thoroughly, resulting in the discovery of the weapon and narcotics. The citizen was then referred to the relevant security department for questioning and other necessary legal procedures. Meanwhile, two Kuwaiti citizens were arrested in Ahmadi area in possession of drugs, and 6 others were arrested for drunken driving.
According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling the area when they stopped two Kuwaiti citizens who were behaving in a disoriented manner and checked them to find drugs. Securitymen also arrested 6 citizens who were drunk and loitering around the area in two vehicles. All arrested individuals were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them. In the meantime, secret agents affiliated to Drug Control General Department arrested a Nepalese for the possession of narcotics.
The agents noticed the abnormal behavior of the suspect while he was roaming around Khaitan. They then stopped him for routine inspection and this led to the discovery of the narcotic substances. A case was registered and the Nepalese was referred to the concerned security department for legal action.
