Acting Director of Hajj Affairs Office in the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Kamal Al- Ayoubi has warned all those planning to perform Hajj against registering in unlicensed or suspicious caravans in order not to fall under the clutch of law upon arrival at Makkah. He also urged pilgrims registered in accredited caravans to check their registrations and caravans by logging on https://hajjoffice.awqaf.gov.kw :9006/public/SearchPligrim or they can inquire by using their civil ID number.
He confirmed the Hajj Office is keen on continuously communicating with the public through the social networking websites like Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp and even YouTube or through hotline number 99051691. He urged those who intend to perform Hajj to visit the headquarters of the office to inquire about its publications and brochures which contain guidance and legal instructions in this domain. It is worth mentioning that Thursday 26th Thu al-Q’eda, 1436 — Sept 10, 2015 is the deadline for Kuwaitis to register in Hajj caravans; whereas Thursday, 5th Thu al-Q’eda, 1436 – Aug 20, 2015 is the deadline for non-Kuwaitis.
