After the success of “Dhoom Machale" dance competition, "Singing Superstar" a multilingual singing competition and "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom" a ghazal and qawwali show Indian Youth Society-Kuwait presented "Dhoom Machale Season-2" on Friday 27th September 2013 at Dr. Kamel Al-Rayes Auditorium, American International School, Maidan Hawalli- Kuwait from 6:45 pm onwards.
'Dhoom Machale' was a dance competition to bring out the dancing talent of Indians in Kuwait which was judged by the Bollywood dancing judge and choreographer ‘Dance India Dance’ fame Terence Lewis. Aman Verma, talented actor and anchor, was the compere of the day. The competition had different levels according to the age group of contestant such as junior, pre senior & senior for the age group between 6 to 17 years. A total of 12 individuals for solo and 16 groups were selected for finals by auditions on 13th of September at Carmel School, Khaitan which was judged by the very talented choreographer/dancer and Zee TV ‘Dance India Dance’ finalist Pradeep Gurung.
The program started with video presentation about IYS followed by formal welcome by President Shabbir Qamar. After the national anthem of Kuwait and India, Subasish Bhattacharya sung Hindi songs “Mere Sapno ki Rani” and “Roop tera Mastana” as a tribute to Rajesh Khanna. Shabbir Qamar introduced the compere of the day popular Indian TV show anchor and actor Aman Verma who took the audience to a new world of entertainment with his fluent talks and unique humorous style. Finally when the time came to introduce Judge of the day Terrence Lewis, the audience filled the hall with a loud voice and screams out of excitement. After formal talk and short dance session, Terrence took his seat and the winners of previous season showcased their dance talents. The competitions started with solo and group dances for the categories junior, senior & Pre senior. All the contestants did their best to entertain the audience and to impress the judge.
In between the competitions, the sponsors of the program, artists, supporter and Terence Lewis were invited to the dais and felicitated with flower bouquets. A souvenir was released to mark the event. Foot tapping dances were performed by the winners of last season. The winners were honored with the Cup. Impressed by the performance, Terrence offered training in his dance academy for the senior solo winner Ashley Vipparti. The results of the competitions were as follows,

Indian Youth Society of Kuwait fondly known as IYS is a non-profitable organization registered with Indian Embassy of Kuwait by the initiative of a like-minded young Indians with the vision of honoring, encouraging, supporting and celebrating the Indian social & cultural values amongst the people of Kuwait. IYS intension is to create a platform for people by organizing various competition events like singing, dancing, sports etc., to showcase their talents and creativity. The Society is also strived to provide social & cultural work by regularly organizing quality entertainment events to increase the interaction and enhance the harmony amongst the people.
