Indian Youth Society’s (IYS) motto of contributing and building a platform for the youth in society was reinforced with yet another grand success, the Dhoom Macha Le Season 3.

IYS organized the dance competition Dhoom Macha le season 3 on 25th September 2015 at American International School in Maidan Hawally.  The show was judged by the renowned Indian choreographer, dancer and reality show judge, Geeta Kapur. More than 200 dancers participated in the Grand Finale in different categories. All 200 participants were selected following an audition held by Indian actor, dancer and choreographer, Dharmesh.

The show commenced with a short introductory message by His Excellency Sunil Jain Indian Ambassador to Kuwait and a speech by IYS President Shabbir Qamar who thanked the ambassador for his attendance, and the sponsors for their support.

The show, which was compered by Shakir Shaikh, produced many amazing talents that it became difficult for the judge to pick winners. Expressing her surprise at the extraordinary talent on display, Ms. Kapur thanked IYS for granting her the opportunity to judge such a talent. She also said that she will recommend the popular television show, Dance India Dance, to set up an audition in Kuwait and portray Kuwait’s talent on their show.

The stiff competition among the participants eventually led to Ms. Kapur picking multiple winners and runner-ups. The winner of the Pre-Seniors category, Archana Kamath, was invited to join Ms. Kapur’s dance troupe in Mumbai. She also urged the Super Seniors winner, Vibin John, to enter the Dance India Dance competitions. She lauded all the participants especially the performances by the juniors.

Ms. Kapur praised the event organizers, saying it was one of the best conducted shows that she had ever attended. For his part, the IYS President thanked Ms. Kapur for attending and judging the show and reiterated the commitment of IYS to providing young talent with a platform to flap their wings and fly high.
