Dalal Al Janaie shares secrets of business success with BBF Businesswomen

On 21 May 2013 the British Business Forum Businesswomen Sector Group held their monthly meeting which was attended by 22 members. An Swinnen, BBF Board Member chaired the meeting at the Crowne Plaza, which once again hosted this business networking event.

Dalal Al Janaie, Managing Director of Mars Venus Consulting Kuwait returned due to popular demand. She advised the members on how to grow their businesses the Mars Venus Way. She discussed why small businesses fail, why men and women react differently to marketing and public relations, the different characters a good entrepreneur should have, the profile of your ideal client and five ways to increase your profits.

Carla El Khoury gave a summary of what different businesswomen groups are doing in GCC. Some groups have selection processes, membership and a Board structure while others are run under the umbrella of the local Chambers of Commerce. Bizladies in Bahrain is run as a private company.

Ramy Haykal, General Manager of the Crowne Plaza was thanked for his generosity as the hotel has been hosting the BBF Businesswomen meetings since November 2012. Ramy received a plaque from the BBF Businesswomen as a token of their appreciation and Rose William, Sheeba Pius and Jennifer Mascarenas received a little gift for their BBF office support. At the end of the meeting Ramy gave each member an office set and credit card holder as a small token.

The BBF Businesswomen group has 55 members from all business backgrounds and sectors. The group provides an environment where professional women can network, generate business opportunities, exchange ideas and experiences, learn new skills, host women Speakers and find out what is happening in Kuwait and the rest of the world regarding business practice and opportunities. BBF Businesswomen provide mutual support and celebrate members’ successes in the monthly meetings.
