Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Friday gradual rescheduling of flights at Kuwait International Airport in cooperation with airlines and service providers, particularly Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways In a press release, the DGCA appealed to passengers to understand the abnormal conditions of airport facilities as a result of the unprecedented downpour that hit the country over the past two days and led to water pools in some parts of the airport.

It praised cooperation and support of all government agencies, notably the Ministries of Interior, Defense, Public Works and Health, besides National Guard, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate, the General Directorate of Civil Defense and the General Authority for Roads and Land Transport. It also lauded the support of all government agencies concerned in providing fuel to aircraft, especially Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) and Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).
