November 9, 2017, 11:54 am

Integrated Indian School (IIS) organized their much awaited School Winter Carnival on 4 November, in the school premises reiterating the spirit of the school motto ‘Knowledge to Perfection.’

The morning celebrations commenced with Mahesh Iyer, the Principal of Smart Indian School (SIS)’s melodious classical song and his message as the Chief Guest of the day. The inaugural moments were boosted by an enthralling song by the SIS Principal and a fun dance. The cutting of colourful ribbon by Mr. Iyer along with Arul Dharmaraj, the Principal of IIS, marked the inauguration of the carnival.

The school grounds were lively with scintillating music and an enthusiastic crowd. The carnival was prepared for children or adults. Teachers and students worked together to put up stalls for food, games and other activities that showcased their artistic and creative abilities. There was even a stall for a DJ session. A variety of eco-friendly products were a crowd puller.

Activities catering to the interest of the children included a variety of rides and games, a flash mob, music dedications, nail art and tattoos, a baby show, a fashion show, and a fancy dress competition.  An array of edible delights, a raffle draw and exciting prizes ensured an unforgettable time for everyone.

The presence of Col. Ebrahim Abdul Razaq, Area Commander Police, Al-Dajeej, at the concluding function, was an added blessing for all. His message was thought provoking and inspiring. The zest and zeal exhibited by the enthusiastic crowd of visitors and participants made the Winter Carnival 2017 a memorable one.
