Creating opportunities to all through NIOS

The Indian Community School has opened great avenues of opportunities to the students of Indian diaspora with the implementation of a regular stream of NIOS in the school campus that will function in parallel with the existing CBSE stream. The National Institute of Open Schooling is a prestigious  organization offering certification equivalent to the CBSE Stream.

The inaugural ceremony was conducted in the ICSK Senior school auditorium on Wednesday, 1 October 2014. Shiv Sagar, the Second Secretary  to Community Affairs & Educational Wing of the Indian Embassy was the Chief Guest on this auspicious occasion

He congratulated the school for this commendable service of providing opportunities to all. The Principal Dr. V. Binumon welcomed the gathering with words of inspiration for all the students encouraging them to search for opportunities than to wait for it. The meeting was attended by  Bobby Mathew, the Honorary Vice Chairman of ICSK, Vijay Karayil –the Honorary Secretary .other members of the board and invited guests.

With the introduction of NIOS in the campus, The Indian Community School has risen to the status of the only Indian school in the gulf region offering the NIOS stream with regular classes. The highly qualified and dedicated faculty combined with compatible learning atmosphere of the school is sure to provide the required help for the needy students.

Through this option of open schooling ,all students who are unable to continue education due to myriad reasons can access the vistas of knowledge with ease and comfort .These students registered at NIOS in the ICSK campus will be provided with all the privileges of regular schooling.

They can register for class X&XII as per their requirements. Even those who were deprived of ample opportunities to continue education can get registered either with the regular stream or for correspondence courses. Opportunities are the best gifts that can be provided to humans; using them with discretion is the greatest accomplishment of an individual.

Through this venture ,The Indian Community School proudly upholds the NIOS vision of Sustainable inclusive learning with universal and flexible access to quality education and skill development  The course offers opportunities for all to continue education at various levels with a promise of  excellence there by bringing all to the mainstream living.
