The Constitutional Court rejected on Tuesday the contestation No. 11/2016 over the unconstitutional decree No. 276/2016 regarding the dissolving of the 2016 parliament and inviting voters to elect a new legislature.

The court announced on Monday that it determined a consultation room to consider the contestation submitted by a citizen over the constitutionality of the two decrees of dissolving the parliament of 2016 and inviting voters to elect another one.

The Kuwaiti voters are set Saturday to head to the polling stations so as to elect 50 lawmakers for the 15th legislative term within the fifth constituencies.
