As part of events organized by the UN conference on climate change of the 21 edition - cup 21 - which will be held in Paris from November 30 until December 12, 2015, the French Embassy in Kuwait and the French Institute has the honor to cordially invite you to attend a conference, which is organized with the participation of Kuwait University and Research Center European - Gulf (Euro-Golfe).
This event will be held on November 23, at Kuwait University, Shuwaikh conference hall, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Theater, from eleven o'clock to two o'clock in the afternoon. This conference will introduce the work of researchers who have shown that global warming is linked to human action, specifically carbon emissions caused by the burning of fossil fuels into the atmosphere, and they will present a report on the impact of climate change on the environment, and in our societies and our economies.
On this occasion, Professor Eric Gilliarda, the famous French climate scientist, will give a lecture on the topic "Climate change is due to human actions: How to avoid the most dangerous effects?"
Professor Eric Gilliarda research revolves around the transformative effects of climate change. She is a renowned expert in the study of the El Nino phenomenon and has contributed the most to the preparation of the Fifth Assessment of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report. Along with many lectures, Professor Eric Gilliarda has submitted papers to many publications.
