Cancer awareness seminar for National and Liberation day celebrations

As part of Hala February celebrations, Nilaav Kuwait in association with Shifa Al Jazeera and Grand Hypermarket is organizing a medical seminar scheduled for 24 and 25 February. The two-day seminar is led by famous oncologists from Kerala, Dr. V.P. Gangadharan and Dr. Chithrathara, giving priority to cancer awareness.

The venue for the session on 24 February is at the NSH Camp at Wafra and NBTC Camp at Ahmadi. The second day will kick off with a cancer awareness seminar addressing the student community of Indian schools in Kuwait at 9am at Community Hall near Abbassiya Co-operative.

The second session of the day ‘Meet & Greet’ provides the opportunity for the socially committed community members to have a discussion with the guests on various aspects of the awareness campaign. The concluding session is scheduled at 6pm as an open session for the public.

Dr. V.P. Gangadharan and Dr. Chithrathara will present information on Cancer giving special mention to the cancer incidents effecting females, precautions and health care aspects followed by an interactive session. Prominent members from various strata of residents in Kuwait are expected to attend the event. Ministry of Information, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Indian Doctors Forum, Kuwait Cancer Center and Nurses Association are joining hands with Nilaav Kuwait, for the noble cause. 

‘Nilaav’ is a social organization with an aim to extend a helping hand to those who suffering from various kinds of diseases, mainly the non-communicable diseases like those affecting Kidney, Heart etc.
