Cairo Aviation Company announced commencing its first flight to Kuwait International Airport on Thursday, with two flights per day from Alexandria, Sohag and Sharm El-Sheikh.

Kuwait will be the company's first-ever scheduled flights' destination; especially that the country hosts between 750,000 to 900,000 Egyptians, director general Muntasir Khalil told KUNA.

The company used to work with chartered flights in the previous years, he added. Cairo Aviation is planning to open new routes to Europe as well, said Khalil, expecting this season to be of great economic outcome for aviation companies due to the long vacation periods.
