Bridgewater Chocolate makes sweet entry into Kuwait

Bridgewater Chocolate, the award-winning American chocolate brand, has made its debut in the Middle East with the opening of its first store at Grand Avenue, The Avenues in Kuwait in partnership with retail franchise operator M.H. Alshaya Co.

The new store was officially opened by Bridgewater Chocolate co-founders Erik Landegren and Andrew Blauner, and Alshaya’s Executive Chairman Mohammed Alshaya.

“Customers in Kuwait share our passion for taste and quality. We take great pride in handcrafting each and every item, which results in a unique and delicious chocolate. We’re extremely excited to introduce our brand and product range to the Middle East through our partnership with Alshaya, and we look forward to customers in the region falling in love with Bridgewater Chocolate,” said Mr. Landegren.

Established in 1995 in in the quaint town of Bridgewater, Connecticut, by Swedish chef Landegren, Bridgewater Chocolate creates exquisite chocolates, made with the finest ingredients. In 1999, as the business was experiencing rapid growth, Landegren partnered with Mr. Blauner to manage the company’s operations.

Hand-crafted, hand drizzled, and hand-packed, each creation is a synergy of American-style, European quality and fresh ingredients, where no two chocolates are the same. The Bridgewater Chocolate range features a variety of delicious treats, including chewy caramels wrapped around a selection of nuts, a mix of milk and dark chocolates, buttery toffees and fruit-based products to pleasure those with tropical taste buds.

Bridgewater Chocolate adds a special touch to symbolic occasions and cherished family moments, from weddings, birthdays and baby showers to corporate gifts, festive occasions and family luncheons.
