Blessen George Foundation International (BGFI) honours the sports stars of Indian Schools

The indoors of Al Fahaheel Sports Club Mangaf was indeed privileged  and honoured to shower banquets of appreciation and blessings on the budding talents who excelled  in sports carving a niche for themselves and their esteemed institution when they were blissfully honored by Blessen George Foundation International (BGFI) in connection with the 3rd Blessen George Foundation International Volleyball Tournament held in Kuwait from the 14th-17th May 2014. 

BGFI has always given great importance in encouraging talented youngsters and  to rekindle the sportive fervour and spirit in the students and this award titled:-
"The Best sportsman/ Best sportswoman"selected by the school management is given on the basis of their excellence in sports and to spur them reach greater heights as they grow up.

Proud winners of BGFI Award  are:- Isaac Abheek and Srinithi Jayakumar (Gulf Indian School), Farzan Bhandari and Sameera Abraham of DPS-Kuwait), Shawn Abraham and Sarah Jacob Koshy of Bhavans-Kuwait, Joel Joseph and Viduksha Das of Carmel School, Palen Agnelo D’Costa and Kareena Clarisse Sequeira of Don Bosco-Kuwait, Jerin C. Thomas and Archana Mohandas K, of United Indian School, Dennis Koshy and Sonal Yadav of Indian Central School, Kumail Ali and Iman Abdul Kareem of Indian Public School, Sahad Abdul Azeez and Soumyasree of India International School, Shibil Basheer and Pavani of Indian Learner’s Own Academy, Craig Leroy Rodrigues and Janet Florine D’Souza of Indian Community School, Sayed Sameem Ahmed and Faith Sarah Luke of Salmiya Indian Model High School.

It was a momentous occasion for the young sports stars who showcased their sporting skills and excelled in their respective category of sports.   It was a sight for the Gods  as the 24 nominees chosen from different Indian schools dressed in their red and black attire stood up and paraded to the Center  of the bright  Fahaheel Sports Club indoor stadium  resembling a  cluster of glittering stars enlivening the sky,  patted on their backs by parents and complimented by well -wishers for those majestic moments of glory. 

BGFI always believes in taking the right leap at the right time when it concerns with the development of sports talents in the young generation and this award ceremony was a real testimony to this sublime motive. The credit for organizing and orchestrating  this memorable ceremony  goes to the ebullient BGFI Public Relations Coordinator Mrs. Usha Dilip, who spared no efforts in reaching out to all Indian Schools in Kuwait, interacting with School management, teachers and parents of students.
