Biography on Doha Bank CEO released during official ceremony

Gandhi Jeyanthi is a befitting occasion to release the book titled 'Towards the Truth - The successful Travel experiences of Dr. R. Seetharaman', a biography of Dr. R. Seetharaman which was authored by N. C. Mohandoss, a popular Tamil writer and novelist.  H.E. Nassir Abdul Aziz Al-Nasser, Former President of U.N. General Assembly and currently Special Officer, ”Alliance of Civilization” U.N. received the first copy. The venue was the World Tamil 3 rd Economic conference” conducted at Le Meridian Hotel, Chennai.

On this special occasion, Dr. R. Seetharaman, CEO of  Doha Bank gave an excellent lecture both in English and Tamil that outlined various details of this book that highlighted facts about his early life.

Born in a middle class family, he had to struggle hard to get the education he yearned for, and had to overcome many hurdles due to insufficient funds. Dr. Seetharaman gave an account of the trials and tribulations he faced in his life and the various methods he had to utilize to overcome such difficult situations. He made truth his goal and conscience his guide. He enthralled the audience with a stirring speech.

H.E. Moses Veerasamy Nagamootoo, Prime Minister of Guiana, who presided over the conference, introduced his own book titled 'Fragments of Memory' to the gathering. Justice A. R. Lakshmanan, Former Justice of Supreme Court of India introduced his own book titled 'The Judge Expresses'.

A. R. Lakshman, In his speach praised Dr. R. Seetharaman’s exemplary success in his life, which will be a source of inspiration to the younger generation. Justice A. R. Lakshmanan also hailed N. C. Mohandoss's co-operation in the publication of Dr. R. Seetharaman biography.

Many celebrities attended the function including Advocate V. R. Sampath (Organiser of This Conference), G. Viswanathan, Chancellor - Vellore Institute of Technology, VGP group  V. G. Santosham, V. Ponraj Former adviser to Dr. Kalam, N. R. Sampath, Justice Thamizhvanan former Judge of Madras High court,  popular writers, journalists Noorullah, Sethu Nagarajan, Professors including Maraimalai Ilakkuvanar, Publishers including Ravi Thamizhvanan, and Kalaimamani Yoga.
