Bhavans holds Annual Athletic Meet and Drill Display

The Indian Educational School, (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan) conducted its Annual Athletic Meet and Drill Display on 28 November at the Kaifan Stadium marking another milestone in the school’s support of athletic activities. The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Kuwait H.E. Kandeepan Bala was chief guest at the function.

The highly anticipated Bhavan's Sports Meet 2015 opened to loud cheers and resounding applause as students showed off their mettle through enthusiastic participation in many exciting athletic events. Students from classes 1-8 engaged in exercises and other artistic drill displays to amaze the audience with their timing and nimble movements. Sights such as the Animals Free Hand Exercise, the Flower Display and Sun Formation executed by the spirited students were marvelous to behold and were testament to their hard work in the previous months. 

The victory ceremony commenced with the winners taking the stand to be awarded their trophies and receiving honors for their athletic feats.

The students were glad that they were part of creating yet another amazing memory for the school with Annual Athletic Meet and Drill Display 2015. This year’s athletic event ended with a final bang and enormous pride in the school and its achievements.
