Bhavan’s Smart Indian School earmarked a week’s time of campaign and election process in the school premises for the selection of its student Board Members for the year 2018-2019. Ever since the announcement of the election, our untiring students had been slewing in the campus in a way befitting to be analogous to a Nation’s Election.

The council had a myriad of titles in store such as Head Boy, Head Girl, Sport’s Captains, Student Editors, Cultural Secretary and House Captains of four houses – Seva, Satya, Tapas and Sanskriti. Regardless of being determined as a winner, the ever-shining students took the time for a campaign amalgamated with fresh thoughts, optimism and the futuristic promises.

The whole process was akin to a real-life election where the students were amassed with placards, charts and the acclamation that comprised of commitment, assurance and potentiality. The inundated shouts that echoed all around the corridor instigated a scenario among the voters to the persuasive art of avidity and voting. As days approached, the propaganda turned vigorous and the actual day of election saw the tension filling the air.

The polling day took place on 25th April with much gaiety & participation among the voter students and the tension surfacing among student nominees.

The polling method soared high to the level of allotting polling booth in a specific room on the third floor staffed by the faculties of Middle & Secondary wings and the students were independently organized with the prior instruction issued in the class.

A thunderous reception was reciprocated for the student winners during the time of result announcement read out by the school Principal, Mr. Mahesh Iyer. The moment drenched all the attendees with the happiness to cherish in this yearlong period as heads in their respective positions.

The prestigious swearing-in ceremony christened as Investiture is to take place on 6th May 2018. Thus the whole journey of lookalike governing election method paved way to the spirit of imbibing and internalizing the policies in pragmatic field.
