The Embassy of Bangladesh hosted a reception on 30 March at the Crowne Plaza Kuwait on the occasion of the country’s 43rd Independence and National Day celebrations.
Kuwait’s Minister of Finance, Anas Al Saleh, was the guest of honor. His Excellency Mohammad Ashab Uddin, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Kuwait, delivered a speech highlighting his country’s history and progress since its liberation in 1971.
The ambassador also paid rich tribute to Kuwait as the first country from the region to recognize Bangladesh after its liberation in 1971. Moreover, he added that the two countries have enjoyed excellent bilateral ties.
