Bangladesh Ambassador led delegation meets Farwaniya Governor

The Ambassador of Bangladesh H.E. Major General Mohammad Ashab Uddin, ndc, psc (Retd)  called on H.E. Sheikh Faisal Al Humoud Al Malek Al Sabah, Governor of Farwaniya, State of Kuwait, on 17 August, 2015 at his office. During the meeting, they exchanged pleasantries and discussed matters of mutual interest.

H.E. Sheikh Faisal cordially welcomed the Ambassador. During the discussion, both officials reiterated that Kuwait and Bangladesh enjoy an excellent, friendly and brotherly relationship for decades, and the Governor praised the Bangladeshi expatriates working in Kuwait with honesty, sincerity and devotion.

The Ambassador apprised the Governor about the various initiatives undertaken by Bangladesh Embassy for its community in Kuwait and mentioned that these initiatives are paying dividends as the community members are more disciplined and law-abiding. The Ambassador discussed the newly established Bangladeshi school named ‘Morning Glory Bangladesh International School’ that will be functional from 1 September, 2015. H.E. the Governor was very happy to learn about the launch of the first Bangladeshi School and he spontaneously gave his all out support for the school as it is located in his governorate.

H.E. Sheikh Faisal mentioned that the Bangladeshi community working and living in Kuwait had a good reputation and the Kuwait people find them very loyal and hard working. H.E. the Ambassador mentioned that Bangladesh has a large pool of professionals such as doctors, engineers, technicians and skilled manpower to be employed for the development of the Kuwait.  

The Ambassador handed a memento of the newly established school to H.E. Sheikh Faisal Al Humoud Al Malek Al Sabah. The Ambassador wished him good health, success and progress of Kuwait. During the meeting, the Chairman and two Vice-chairman of School governing body, Principal and Abdul Latif Khan, Counsellor (L) of the Mission were present.
