Bala Siva Srikanth Adivi awarded with Global Region SPY award

ASSE Kuwait Chapter professional member  Bala Siva Srikanth Adivi has recently been awarded with Global Region Safety Professional of the Year (SPY) 2016, for his significant achievement in the profession as well as his outstanding service  to the Kuwait Chapter and for ASSE as a whole in recognizing with first ever Global Region SPY Award. 

Mr. Adivi CSP, CMIOSH is working as TPL Specialist I (HSE) with HSE (WK) Team Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait. He is a double graduate in Bachelors of Sciences and Bachelors of Fire Engineering, besides completing many HSE courses. He is a Certified Safety Professional of BCSP, USA and Chartered Member of IOSH, UK. He has around 18 years’ experience in the field of HSE consultancy and management in Oil and Gas industries. He was also awarded with ASSE Kuwait Chapter SPY (Safety Professional of the Year) Award for the year 2013 during his voluntary services to the Chapter and to the profession.

He is a Professional Member of ASSE and served ASSE–Kuwait Chapter in many positions including Committee Heads, Deputy Director for the 8th ASSE Kuwait Chapter PDC and Director of ASSE GCC HSE Excellence Award program 2015. Currently he is extending his voluntary services to ASSE as Assistant Administrator of International Practice Specialty (IPS) and as a member of Council on Professional Development (CoPD). 

He was recognized by this award for his ongoing efforts to the profession and contributions to the Society. 

President 2015-2016 ASSE Michael Belcher, along with Global Region Vice President, ASSE Ashok Garlapati, and Fellow ASSE Jitu Patel, presented this award in the Global Presidential Reception during this year’s annual ASSE Professional Development Conference, that is, Safety-2016.
