Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals, the number one group of private hospitals in Sultanate of Oman in association with Dr. Nadeem Abdulla Al Duaij, a dynamic and highly qualified Intensivist in Kuwait, opened their first venture in Kuwait, Badr Al Samaa Medical Centre, in Farwaniya.
The Medical Centre was inaugurated in the morning by Governor of Farwaniyah H.E. Sheikh Faisal Al-Humoud Al-Malek Al-Sabah in the presence of Indian Ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Sunil Jain on 1 March. Top dignitaries, officials and community leaders attended the inauguration ceremony.
In the evening, a grand reception was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, where the logo was released and the directors of the group gave their felicitation addresses.
The Directors of Badr Al Samaa Group, P.A. Mohamed, V.T. Vinod and Abdul Latheef are successful businessmen, who together established the Badr Al Samaa group in 2002 and have steadily spread the message of affordable healthcare throughout the GCC with a total of 20 hospitals and medical centers. Apart from the hospitals and healthcare, the Directors have established businesses in diverse sectors.
Describing their vision for Kuwait, Mr. Latheef, Director, Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals, stated that their vision was to enter Kuwait health sector and to establish a multi-specialty hospital to cater to the healthcare needs of the nationals and expatriate communities in Kuwait. As a first step, he said they have now established a Medical Centre in Farwaniya area in a very good accessible location, sufficient car parking and centrally located to be accessible to many families.
He shared the details of their larger plan, which was to establish 5 medical centers in various prominent areas of Kuwait in the next 3 years. Already they have selected the locations and work would commence in due course, he added, they were launching their first medical Center as a first step to create a base for executing their full plan.
Director V T Vinodan in his address said Badr Al Samaa Medical Centre's vision was to provide affordable and world-class high-quality healthcare to all sections of the society. He also thanked all the people responsible for their maiden venture in Kuwait.
P.A. Mohamed, Director of Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals, in his address spoke about the standards of healthcare that the group would bring to Kuwait. He said that Badr Al Samaa Group had over 15 years of extensive experience is healthcare and has achieved the highest certification by receiving the JCI Accreditation for its hospitals in Muscat and Bahrain. He also pointed out that the Medical Center in Kuwait was already in the process of attaining the JCI Accreditation.
Guests were treated to a special presentation of a corporate video that highlighted the history and the success of the hospital across the GCC.
