The Junior Phase at the British School of Kuwait (BSK) put on a fantastic performance of Pirates versus Mermaids for a very receptive audience of parents and friends. The play was based on the rivalry between pirates and mermaids, and a secret that the pirates couldn’t swim. It was a performance full of toe-tapping melodies, catchy rhythms and was thoroughly enjoyable by all.
The students’ singing and dramatic performances were exceptional, especially their timing with the comical side of the play. The colorful costumes and set design enhanced the performance. It was team work all round from the BSK staff and young but highly motivated students to put this show together.
