BSK students present cheque to Al Sidra Centre
January 18, 2016, 3:29 pm

A group of Sixth Form Prefects from The British School of Kuwait (BSK) accompanied by Dr Clifford Cheung visited Al Sidra in the Kuwait Cancer Control Centre to present a cheque of  KD 4, 000 which was raised during the annual Pink event held at The British School of Kuwait and The Sunshine Kindergarten.  The visit enabled Dr Clifford and his students to meet the patients and staff and see how the money is used to provide complimentary therapies such as massage, yoga, creative visualization and healing to help manage stress levels and regain a sense of control. BSK students also presented Al Sidra with a pink tree of hope.

BSK and TSK have been long associated with this charity and have been raising funds since many years.

Al Sidra Centre is a psychosocial support centre for women, and their families, who are living with cancer.  They provide a warm, caring, safe and confidential environment with information and education about cancer at any stage of the disease.
