BSK students meet Swedish royal to acknowledge Kuwait’s anti-drug hard work
October 24, 2016, 11:40 am

As part of a competition, organized by Mentor Arabia, aimed at using art as a means to combat the spread of drugs, Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden visited Kuwait to present awards to prize winners and to applaud the Kuwaiti youth on their outstanding efforts in keeping Kuwait free of drug-use.

Senior Prefects from BSK were invited to experience the great honor of meeting Her Majesty and to learn more about her charitable work. Then, students watched a presentation on the work being done in Kuwait to prevent the effects of drug use, and the specific efforts being made by various organizations to assist in this noble cause.

BSK students appreciated the humbling experience and were delighted to have been given the chance to participate in it.
