The British School of Kuwait (BSK) showed appreciation for Spanish language and culture with an event that had the students from the Spanish Club participate in various activities. The students were joined by visitors from the Spanish embassy, led by the wife of the Spanish Ambassador to Kuwait, María del Carmen Vázquez.
The event witnessed interesting presentations, roleplays, music and dance. Mrs. María del Carmen Vázquez explained the merits of learning Spanish and the opportunities the language could open for students.
The highlight of the event was the sampling of traditional Spanish food for all present. Those students working towards Spanish GCSE and A Level also attended the event and were eager to meet the guests and discuss their Spanish language topics.
