BAIA students perform spectacular show
May 19, 2018, 11:04 am

The British Academy of International Arts (BAIA) recently held its highly anticipated 'On Broadway' musical theatre, showcasing some of the most famous songs from Broadway and West End musicals.

The audience were treated to a wonderful array of young talent from the extremely professional and skilled students aged between 7 and 17. Under the guidance of the shows director Carly Gillard and her assistant student director Wasmiya Al-Ashour, the big hit numbers included 'Think of Me' from The Phantom of the Opera, and 'Gaston' from Beauty and the Beast. The students showed a tremendous amount of confidence and talent, some of which have been involved in productions before, but for many students it was their first show ever and the outstanding performances from Mahima Juyal, Adam Salha and Morgan Gwillim, to name a few, were received with standing ovations. Once again, BAIA have delivered an action-packed, fun-filled show much to the delight of the attending audiences.

The next BAIA performance will be the Music Gala on Friday, 25 May held at the BSK Shakespeare Theatre at 8pm. Call 50962809 for more information.
