The British Academy of International Arts (BAIA) in collaboration with The British Academy of Sport (BAS) hosted their annual carnival at the BSK campus in Salwa where hundreds of visitors with family and friends enjoyed a variety of entertainment and activities. The British Ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Matthew Lodge, who was the chief-guest of the occasion, along with his wife Alexia Lodge, the patron of BAIA, inaugurated the carnival. Escorted by BSK Director Madam Vera AI Mutawa MBE, the ambassador was given a tour of the many colorful booths at the carnival.
With more than 80 booths providing everything from challenging recreational games to delicious food and drinks, from booths offering fabulous gifts, there was plenty to keep the visitors thoroughly engaged. Young children were attracted to the bouncy house and mini golf area for some amusement, while others were particularly overjoyed with meeting Mickey Mouse and Queen Elsa.
Throughout the evening, the center stage was brought to life with dances featuring energetic, colorfully dressed performers. The carnival was a highly successful event that allowed one and all to have a fun-filled evening laden with entertainment and many unique experiences.
