Audiences in Kuwait were captivated by the performance of Atif Aslam at his live concert held at the Al Arabi Stadium in Mansouriya on 21 August. Energized and overwhelmed by their star’s performance on stage, the audience, swayed, screamed and sang along to their favorite star.

The Atif Aslam Live Concert, organized by Creative Indians Association, who in the past had organized several mega shows, including that of popular singers Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika Singh and Arijit Singh, was once again a great program that delighted audiences packed at the indoor stadium. Many in the audience were extra-happy when their musical hero agreed to snap a few selfies with them and interacted in a way few mega-stars do.

A.K. Srivastava, Second Secretary (Information, Press and Culture) of Indian Embassy who was the chief guest for the function spoke a few words wishing success for the event.
President of Creative Indian Association, Prashanth D'Souza then handed mementoes to sponsors while media persons, well-wishers and the people who contributed to the event were given flower bouquets.

Opening the exciting event was Kuwaiti Singer Mubarak Al-Rashid singing Salman Khan's ‘Aaj ki Party’ and a rhythmic dance by the Dancing Divas, leading to the sparkling talent of UK-born singer, performer and actress Harshida Madhaparia. Charming all with a mix of favorite Hindi and Western numbers, she was a force of pleasurable vocals that was unforgettable.  Chirag Wadhwani, the finalist of ‘Laugh India Laugh’ reality show parlayed his strength of mimicry and stand-up comedy with a delightful segment that was consistently humorous and fun.

When the concert’s main star Atif Aslam entered the spotlight with the song ‘Woh lamhe’, the audience reacted with ecstatic enthusiasm. As he continued to belt out his most popular numbers, as well as a blend of Bollywood chartbusters, the dynamism of his music, amplified by the strumming of the acoustic guitar, reeled in the captivated audience. The show concluded with Atif’s winning number that launched his career ‘Aadat’.

Backing the event was Palatial Group and sponsor Vertex Kuwait Company (Gold Sponsor), A4 International General Trading Company (Silver Sponsor), City Bus (Bronze Sponsor), Girnar Tea (Associate sponsor), Eternity Travel and Tours (Travel Partner) and Behbehani Motors Company (Logistics sponsor).  The Kuwait's top MCs Lloyd John, Merwin Pereira and Nita Bhatkar compered the event.
