Asian held with 144 bottles of liquor

An Asian expatriate was arrested in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area in possession of 144 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling the area when they suspected a vehicle and ordered the motorist to pull over.

They checked his details and discovered he is an Asian expatriate. Sensing his nervousness, they inspected his vehicle and found 144 liquor bottles. When questioned, he confessed that he is involved in manufacturing liquor and selling them to his clients. He was arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile a Nepalese expatriate was arrested in possession of liquor in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling the area when they noticed a man carrying a large bag on his back and trying to run away as soon as he noticed the securitymen. However, he was caught after a short chase and his bag was checked to find liquor bottles. He revealed that he was on his way to his clients to sell the liquor. He was arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities. Meanwhile, officers of Khaitan Police Station arrested two Asian expatriates for selling locally manufactured liquor in Khaitan area and for possessing 40 bottles of liquor.
