Arab Economic Summit kicks off in Lebanon

Arab Development, Economic and Social Summit kicked off its 4th edition here on Sunday, with the participation of presidents and senior officials of 20 Arab countries.

Lebanese President Michel Aoun announced the inauguration of the Summit's business agenda with Saudi Arabia's Finance Minister Mohammad Al­Jadaan giving the first speech of the summit for being hosts of the previous summit, to be followed by President Aoun to head this edition.

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait representative, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al­Hamad Al­Sabah arrived earlier.

Sheikh Sabah Al­Khaled is accompanied by an official delegation including Finance Minister Dr. Nayef Al­Hajraf, Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdulwahab Al­Badr, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Bureau's Affairs of the Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister, Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al­Mohammad Al­Ahmad AlSabah and other senior officials.
