Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Bader Al-Essa affirmed that the appointment of cultural attaches was based on thorough studies and in line with relevant regulations and conditions. He denied that any other methods were followed for appointing the cultural attaches.
Speaking to reporters, the minister said the ministry is seriously considering recruitment of teachers from Palestine for the academic year of 2017/18, revealing that he is planning to visit the occupied Palestinian territories on 6 September for discussing this matter with the Palestinian Education Minister.
When asked about the decision concerning studies in the Faculty of Law in Egypt, he clarified that the academic accreditation system will discuss this matter after which the final decision in this regard will be taken. Regarding the preparation for the next school year, the minister said he has been in constant communication with the leaders of Ministry of Education in this regard, affirming that he is expecting the school year to begin without obstacles.
