The famed Anand Kumar will be visiting Kuwait on 15 January, 2016 on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of Maurya Kala Parisar.
Mr. Kumar is the founder and head of “Ramanujan School of Mathematics” and “Super30” at Patna which selects 30 meritorious talents from among the economically backward sections of the society and shapes them for India's most prestigious institutions – the Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs).
Supported by income from the mathematics evening school, the educational programme, “Super 30” is free of charge and is rated by Time Magazine as one of the ‘Best of Asia 2010’. Anand Kumar has been awarded the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Shiksha Puraskar, the highest award by the Government of Bihar in November 2010.

The event which carries the theme of Eastern Indian culture along with an entertaining show will include a cultural programme, “Maurya Manch” followed by the celebration of the Anniversary of Maurya Kala Parisar Kuwait.
Maurya Kala Parisar, founded in 1995 and registered with Indian Embassy in Kuwait is a highly active association of people from the Indian states of Bihar and Jharkhand. It has conducted successful events like Ethnic Food Festival for all families from Indian Community, Dinkar Poetry Awards and Mind Spark Dr. Rajendra Prasad Memorial Debate for students from Indian Schools.
