Al Nahil Int’l Clinic organizes health check camps at ICS

Working 30 years in the Medical Service Industry, Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Group is a socially committed organization, striving to ensure the best medical facilities are available to the common man. As part of its social responsibility, Al Nahil Int’l Clinic recently conducted free Medical Camps at Indian Central School (ICS) for the teaching and non-teaching staff, which amounted to 300 in number and also a Free Dental Check Camp for more than 450 kids.

The basic health checks included: blood pressure, sugar check along with height, weight and BMI. General Physician of Al Nahil, Dr. Liansa and Gynecologist, Dr. Himali were also part of the camp with their free consultation. Besides the 10 percent  who were already taking tablets for BP, sugar levels were on border line for 20 percent, and more than 60 percent of the teachers were recorded as overweight and reported other problems.

The Dental Check Camp for the little kids was appreciated by the teachers and parents. Dental Specialist Dr. Patricia led the Dental Check and also advised the kids on how to maintain their Dental Hygiene. Lucia R. Williams –DGM Customer Relations and Shahida- Marketing Manager from Al Nahil Int’l Clinic were also present as the strength and guiding force for the success of the camp.

The camp ended on a fruitful note. Al Nahil Int’l Clinic General Manager, Abdul Aziz greatly praised the venture initiated by Indian Central School and also assured all support for such camps in future too. Shantha Maria ,Principal thanked and appreciated Al Nahil Int’l Clinic, Medical Camp team for the well-organized efforts and sincere work towards such educational camps and wished them all success for their upcoming endeavors.
