General Physicians, Dr. Liansa Philips and Dr. Pethru, opinioned that "this HALA February Health Package was a benefit for the expatriates in and around Jleeb Al Shuyoukh. Majority of public who stepped in to avail the package were pleased by the opportunity for lower income segments to know their general fitness conditions. More than half of the blood tests results showed a tendency of being diabetic if proper diet and exercise would not be followed."
Dr. Diwakara, radiologist at the clinic reported that 80 percent of the patients who underwent USG were diagnosed with fatty liver condition. "This arises mainly due to the life style in Kuwait in addition to lack of exercise, unhealthy eating habits and in some cases, hereditary reasons were cited. Besides general health checks we saw a large number patients coming in for dental, pediatrics and ENT," he said.
