Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Muhammad Al-Fares disclosed his intention to cancel the decision to reduce the housing allowance of expatriate teachers after coordinating with the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
Al-Fares made the statement when he visited Ibn Tufail Preparatory School recently, during which he clarified that he would have cancelled the decision immediately if it is ministerial but he cannot do so as it is a State decision.
He affirmed support for anything in favor of the teachers, while praising the high standard of the school which consists of a theater hall, training center and six other halls. He visited most of the classes and lauded the positive interaction between teachers and students.
On the other hand, Director of the school Bader Al-Hajeri said this is a model school and a pioneer in using electronic educational methods. He also expressed his happiness over the minister’s appreciation of the school and its teaching staff.
