Air traffic at Kuwait International Airport went back to normal at 7:45 a.m. local-time Monday after thick fog engulfed the country bringing airport operations to a standstill. Head of operations at DGCA Saleh Al-Fadagi told KUNA that the fog had delayed six flights and also diverted 21 incoming flights to nearby airports in the region.
Fog also enveloped other parts of Kuwait, reducing visibility on the roads in some areas and disrupting traffic. Cars were forced to move at a snail's pace in areas heavily clouded by fog, especially in Salmiya.
