Air Arabia in partnership with Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (TDA) ran a successful Ras Al Khaimah Tourism road-show at JW Marriott, Kuwait City. The best representatives of the travel and tourism industry were in attendance along with local and regional media personnel.
To underline RAK as an ideal leisure destination, Mohamed Khater, Business Development Manager, Ras Al Khaimah TDA said that RAK is great for visitors seeking great weather, adventure, value for money and quality experiences. He emphasized the temperate climate, rugged terrain and superb beach facilities boost Ras Al Khaimah as a global contender for exciting winter-sun holiday activities.
For its part, Air Arabia spoke on the operational details of its hub at RAK International Airport, which is its fourth international base. The Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), Ras Al Khaimah has signed a strategic partnership with Air Arabia, enabling the airline to become the Emirate's designated carrier operating services from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
The road show also provided a platform for various resorts and hotels in RAK to deliver presentations detailing the special offers and other benefits of their resorts to the audience. Representatives from Hilton Worldwide, Golden Tulip Resort & Spa, Marjan Island Resort & Spa, and Bin Majid and Rixos Bab Al Bahr gave an impressive pitch for vacationing at RAK.
The event concluded on high expectations with attendees satisfied about the level of engagement and networking that took place at the road-show.
