ASSE organizes training program

Adding on to its illustrious pathways of educating and empowering its members, American Society of Safety Engineers, (ASSE) Kuwait Chapter organized an ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor Training Program from 29 July 2017 to 2 August, at Best Western hotel, Mahboula.

ASSE- Kuwait Chapter lead by Chairman Fadhel Al Ali, is a non- profit organization which always strives to excel in providing quality trainings and consultation in the field of Health Safety and Environment all across different public and private sectors in Kuwait.

Muhammad Alamgir, President of ASSE Kuwait chapter welcomed the participants. He briefed about the significance of the training seminar and the importance of conducting the training program to help the people get certification in the field of Health, Safety & Environment and wished success to all participants for their endeavour to become an IRCA EMS Lead Auditor.

Jahid Thakor, Secretary thanked the participants for their interest shown towards this program and shared upcoming chapter activities. Adnan Yousaf, Head of Training Committee, in his brief address, congratulated the participants for their interest to learn more, update their knowledge and commit to serve the community by providing such training courses for enhancement of professional’s skills before introducing the trainer Ravi Shankar from Dubai.

Mr. Shankar (Trainer TUV Middle East W.L.L.) has conducted various Lead Auditor trainings on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 in Middle East and in Asian countries.

The training session was held over five days, and on the last day Aamir Rasheed, Vice president ASSE Kuwait Chapter visited the venue and accepted feedback from the participants. During his closing remarks, he thanked the trainer and the participants on the successful completion of the session. Twenty ASSE Members utilized this opportunity in Batch-I.
