ASSE-Kuwait Chapter organized an Awareness program on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), Kuwait Chapter as a part of continuous efforts in its professional journey, organized an Awareness program for the Women members on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome on 28 May 2015 at Hotel Safir, Fintas.

Janet Najare, Head, WISE Committee gave an introductory presentation on 'Women In Safety Engineering (WISE) Committee' and its activities in Kuwait.  She introduced the key note speaker Dr. Rajani Soni, Obstetrician & Gynecologist with 13 International  publications and Expertise in Laparoscopic and  Hysteroscopic Surgeries. Dr. Rajani is Currently practicing at Shifa Al-Jazeera Clinic Fahaheel, Kuwait.

During the presentation on the topic, Dr.Rajani, described about the routine changes in female body which helps in recognition of the Cysts formation in its early stage, she referred to the importance of good and healthy food habits for increasing the chances and effectiveness of recovery without any medication.

The Awareness session was very much interactive and it was followed by Question and Answer session. As a token of appreciation, ASSE Executive Committee & WISE Committee members handed over memento to Dr. Rajani Soni

Around 20 women members, including ASSE Kuwait Chapter member’s spouses and ladies of the ASSE membership, participated in the awareness program. The awareness session concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Shaikha Al Fajjam, Head of Shuaiba Medical Center, Ministry of Health.  The meet concluded with the dinner.
