Mohammad Doury from Kuwait University (KU) won the first prize, Faisal Babajan from American College of Middle East (ACM) came in second place and Athari Al-Awadhi from the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) won the third place's in the just concluded 2nd AlArgan Universities Art Competition held at the C club in Al Bidaa. Lulua Al-Muhanna was announced as the winner of the social media award.
The competition's conclusion reasserts ALARGAN International Real Estate Company's success in supporting the young generation. The competition also improved the company's role and responsibility towards young people in all cultural and artistic fields, as well as its ability to build sustainable partnerships with private sector initiatives for the benefit of the Kuwaiti society.
ALARGAN International Real Estate Company had launched its fine arts competition for university students in Kuwait on November 2014, in order to encourage students to improve their skills and motivate them to showcase their talents and artistic capabilities. The competition was organized in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme's (UNDP) office in Kuwait, and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL).
It featured participation from Kuwait University (KU), the American University of the Middle East (AUM), the American University of Kuwait (AUK), the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK), Gulf University of Science and Technology (GUST), the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts and the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET).
ALARGAN International Real Estate Company reiterates through this competition its commitment to taking efforts to encourage artistic innovation and creativity for young talents, and provide them with necessary support throughout their careers. The competition also provided an opportunity to enhance communications and positive relations between them.
