AEGIS live in Kuwait

The Reformed and United Guardians Brotherhood International Incorporated (RUGBII), The Bicolanos in Kuwait (TBIK) and Filipino Association for Music and Arts (FAMA) with the participation of the Philippine Embassy is organizing a fundraising musical event for a cause  entitled “AEGIS LIVE IN KUWAIT” on 3 October 2014 at  5 pm till 10 pm at  Qadsiya Sports Club, Hawally. This event benefits distressed OFW’s in Kuwait and part of the proceeds will be donated to the ongoing construction of the Cathedral in Bahrain.

Organizers of the group are Froilan Cataquis Charter National Founder, RUGBII, Eng. Epifanio Bellen Jr. TBIK President and Noel Silva FAMA Chairman. Aegis has released 10 albums over its career that have consistently made the Gold and Platinum records kicking off with Halik, Mahal na Mahal Kita, Awit at Pag-Ibig, Paskong-Pasko and Ating Balikan. They also released a mind-boggling remix collection of their hits entitled Ating Sayawin. The band is also responsible for hits such as "Luha" and "Halik".

Vocalists Juliet, Ken and Mercy Sunot have been with the group since they formed originally as AG's Soundtrippers. The name was later changed to Aegis in 1998 as agreed upon by the band manager its recording company. Apart from the two sisters the bans also is composed of Members Stella Pabico - Keyboards Vilma Goloviogo - Drums Weng Adriano - Bass guitar Rey Abenoja - Lead guitar.
