60,000 women among 200,000 caught violating red traffic signal

According to the statistics issued by the General Traffic Department a total of 200,000 direct and indirect citations were issued until date in 2018.

These included 60,000 against female motorists, reports Al-Qabas daily. The daily added, it is surprising that last year alone, 300,000 motorists had crossed the red traffic light. A security source said the Ministry of Interior has collected about KD 10 million in fines.
