360 Mall, Kuwait’s iconic shopping centre, and part of Tamdeen Shopping Centers Company, will be celebrating National and Liberation day through a wide variety of entertainment that will regale its beloved customers on 18 and 19 February. The two-day program will include patriotic acts from some of most talented artists and local groups, who will bring the country’s history to life.
Shayma Al Mughairy, an inspiring Omani sand artist, who appeared on the television show, ‘Arabs Got Talent,’ and known for her creative construction of story boards with sand, will showcase artistic masterpieces during this period. Her works will depict imagery reminiscent of the State of Kuwait both pre-invasion and post liberation, encapsulating the emotions experienced by the country’s people over two and a half decades ago. Her work will remind Kuwaitis and expats alike, why they are celebrating this special occasion and what it truly symbolizes.
“We are looking forward to hosting this amazing event with all of our visitors who know us for the great shopping experience that we provide. During this event, the mall will have a fantastic stage setup with LED screens to make it even more vibrant. National and Liberation day are about celebrating the independence of Kuwait and appreciating the country we live in. However, it is also a special time held in remembrance of those who lost their lives during the war,” Says Claudia Lopusinska, Marketing Manager, 360 Mall.
“We are delighted to be part of this patriotic event at 360 MALL. Boubyan Bank is committed to serving its people and even more so, at a time like this. We are sure Kuwaitis will enjoy this spectacular event,” added Quotayba Al Bassam, Public relations manager.
The celebrations will also include Baraem Al Eman, a group of young people who will perform theatrical and patriotic Kuwaiti acts, a photo booth with accessories and costumes suitable to the occasion, and a flag distribution which will take place throughout the two day event, in addition to exciting social media based contests for the most creative national outfit.
