Hawally securitymen launched intensive security campaigns within the governorate during which they issued 168 traffic citations and arrested 202 individuals.
They also seized 5 vehicles including one that was involved in a criminal case, dealt with 813 reports and provided 310 humanitarian assistances. According to security sources, the arrested individuals included 108 individuals who did not carry civil ID cards, 17 residence law violators, 10 who were reported as absconding, six marginal workers and ten street hawkers, 15 individuals wanted for civil cases, 9 individuals wanted for criminal cases, 17 youths for public fighting and ten drug addicts.
Ten of the arrested individuals have been referred for deportation. The securitymen also set up 80 security checkpoints and 53 stationary security monitoring points in Hawally, Salmiya and South Surra areas.
