12 drunk men, women deported

Twelve expatriates (men and women) who were found to be under the influence of alcohol have been deported, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the drunkards were arrested inside a suspect apartment.

Meanwhile, the Hawally police have arrested a Kuwaiti woman for stealing handbags from female shoppers, reports Al-Anba daily. The culprit has been referred to the concerned authorities.

In another development, a Kuwaiti has filed a complaint with the Nugra Police Station accusing a general contracting company of giving him dud cheques for KD 30,000 each, reports Al-Anba daily.The daily did not give more details. ‘And’, a manager of construction projects in Al-Subiya has filed a complaint with the Jahra Police Station accusing unidentified persons of stealing 40 tons of iron, reports Al-Rai daily. Police are looking for the thief. A Canadian woman of Arab origin has filed a complaint with the Jabriya Police Station accusing an unidentified tweeter of offending and insulting her, reports Al-Anba daily.
