This vision, said the minister, has already gotten off the ground with His Highness launching the conference on youth issues under the banner line "Kuwait listens to its youth."
He stressed that this vision was being promoted by the office of the minister of state for youth affairs which in unison with PAY will plan, coordinate, and lay out strategies for the benefits of the nation's youth.
On her part, undersecretary of the state ministry for youth affairs Shaikha Al-Zayn Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah said that the country was committed to improving the status of the youth and the fact that government entities for the youth have been decoupled from those of sports underscored this commitment. Shaikha Al-Zayn has been selected for the position of deputy chairperson of the board of PAY.
She said that the young personnel in the office of the state minister for youth affairs have succeeded in drawing up a roadmap for PAY in concert with the office's strategy for 2014-2017 which seeks to imbue the youth with patriotic values and to have them become partners in the nation's sustainable development aspirations.
