Ooredoo in Kuwait participated in the ITU Telecom World conference which takes place in Doha, the capital of Qatar from the 7 to 10 December. The conference, which is attended by delegates of more than 165 countries, is organized and sponsored mainly by Ooredoo Telecom Group & Ooredoo Qatar.
The event was attended by Ooredoo Group Chairman Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani and Ooredoo Kuwait General Manager and CEO Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Thani, as well as leaders and general managers of Ooredoo companies. Commenting on the event, Ooredoo General Manager and CEO Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Thani said: “We are honoured to take part in such a key event that is important to telecommunications around the globe. Attending the conference will be delegates of 165 counties, as well as representatives of telecommunication and information technology companies from around the world. The conference aims to discuss the implications of the latest trends in telecommunications technology on businesses and societies. Throughout its discussion panels and presentations, it aims to examine the key trends and developments in technology, regulatory and policy issues, business models, services and applications.
