Indian stabbed to death in Jleeb public brawl

An Indian died in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh after engaging in a public brawl with an Asian who stabbed him with a knife. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry received information on the fight. Upon arrival at the scene, they found the victim in a pool of blood and the paramedics quickly took him to Farwaniya Hospital but he died on the way.

His remains were referred to Forensics. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the culprit. Meanwhile, a Bedoun filed a complaint at Ahmadi Police Station against his brother who allegedly beat and stabbed him with a knife in the animal pens area. He submitted a medical report to substantiate his claim. Investigations are underway to arrest the suspect.

Asian commits suicide

An Asian expatriate committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Farwaniya area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information that an Asian expatriate committed suicide in Farwaniya area, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location to find the man hanging from a tree. They pulled him down and checked him to realize he was dead.

Officers from the Criminal Evidence Department referred the corpse to the Forensics Department. Investigations revealed that the man was facing some family problems in his home country which led him to commit suicide. In addition, an Asian domestic worker attempted to take her own life by consuming large quantities of pills.

She was referred to Farwaniya Hospital where she has been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit. Investigations with her sponsor revealed that he had recruited her from a domestic labor office just 20 days before. Necessary action was taken and a case was registered.
